A Working Stiff- For a Change

This week I will be EMPLOYED! Yes for three weeks I'll be doing stream remediation in San Francisco, California. Huh? Yes, my friend and partner, Gordie at Parsons Bros. Rockeries, California needs a little help. You're probably saying, "He must be pretty desperate." Very funny.

The biggest challenge will be getting up well before the chickens. It will be great to get back inside an excavator and moving earth.

A friend of my Dad's, decades ago, used to say, "If the good Lord built the earth with all the dirt and rocks in the right places, the Parsons would be unemployed."

QG is taking it well, in spite of being alone on the mountain. I think she's looking forward to some paychecks. I'll be taking Libby tomorrow, her first big ride since the Adventure.

I'd love to post photos, but will leave the laptop with Quilter Girl and will use the hated iPad. Photos will be on Facebook- I hope.

Speaking of the iPad, it's been giving me grief again, unable to take a manuscript from an email attachment to a document. I spent an hour with tech support that devolved into a shakedown for $299 for cleaning up my hard drive. Apple, you've  ratcheted down again in my consideration.

Thanks for following!

That "shakedown for $299 for cleaning up your hard drive" didn't have anything to do with the hard drive... Their main objective is to help keep your wallet "clean"!
It's all in your best interest, of course! Can you not already get around much faster with that heavy load removed from your pockets?
