50 States The Week in Pictures, Week 23

50 States, The Week in Pictures, Week 23

A statue of an Irish laborer. This is art.

The adjacent sign indicates this suggests 'embracing strength.' This is crap.

If your motel sidewalks heave or crack, don't fix them; paint them.

Another one of Paul's important jobs. Less glorious, but nonetheless important.

Boston's sidewalks, made of granite. Worst walking surface. Can't imagine it in ice and snow.

The very first American flag. They cut off a chunk of the Union Jack and sewed pieces onto it.

Proof that the government is run by aliens. House ceiling.

The Wing, in a rare covered moment- for $9 per hour.

Biker trash. Uh, fellow biker trash.

Is this poor photography, or QG taking shots while going 200 mph?

That puts week 23 in the books! Thanks for following.

1. Nice to see that Massachusettites (Massachusettonians?) don't take their Irish laborer's for granite.

2. I laughed at your description of the artwork 'embracing strength'. Why don't you tell us how you REALLY feel?

3. Your description of the artwork could also apply to Paul Revere's job at the Board of Health...

1. If you ask someone where they are from and they say Massachusetts, should you say, 'God bless you.'?
2. Sorry I held back on 'embracing strength.' Maybe it should be named, 'Welder Sneezes.' See #1.
3. Paul would have probably had it shovelled into the proper receptacle...
